Paris Paloma is a singer-songwriter and Fine Artist based in London. She seeks to create tracks with dreamy melodies and poetic lyrics, drawing classical and dark inspiration from Greek mythology, gothic literature and Pre-Raphaelite poetry, her songs sink you deep into nature as well as the emotive and gentle human experience. Every song lyric she sees as a poem in its own right, often accompanied by paintings or illustrations by her own hand.
Paris’ debut single, “Narcissus” came out on Spotify and Apple Music on the 24th September. The track is inspired by the Greek myth of Narcissus - it is a song about power dynamics and in particular female empowerment, with strong and compelling lyrics paired with ethereal melodies, which Paris worked on with the producer Harry Charlton. The track is a timeless and mythical take on the victim’s perspective in damaging and toxic relationships, and coming out with immense strength on the other side.
