Geo Equihua
Geo makes explosive latin folk. Her songs are inspired by Latin-American traditional music and are blended with rock, blues and the electronic cracking of our modern world.
After more than ten years of experience as a singer and composer in different musical projects (Ave Sol, La Blues Band, Coro Acardenchado, etc.), she´s currently preparing her first album as a soloist “Dulce Fiera”. The first and strong statement, announcing this new facet, is her recently released single “Pajarito”, produced by Nirl Cano (Ampersan) and with Juan Martín Medina (Julieta Venegas, Mariana Carrizo, etc.) on the bombo legüero.
Geo has played in some of the most important venues and festivals in Mexico such as Teatro de la Ciudad “Esperanza Iris”, A Studio IMER, Sala Silvestre Revueltas, etc. Soon she´ll release her next single and is preparing a tour through Mexico and South America.
