Dawn Coulshed

Influenced by the traditional music of her Scottish roots and her classical studies as a pianist Dawn Coulshed is an acoustic singer-songwriter currently establishing herself within the UK’s alternative-pop music scene. Music blogs have compared her to early Maggie Rogers and Joni Mitchell and her single ‘Same Side’ featured on Mahogany’s Spotify playlist. There is a sensitivity in Coulshed’s instrumental playing that draws the listener in and allows her vocals to soar above as her lyrics reveal honest, human stories. A recent highlight was performing an arrangement of her own song with the Roundhouse Choir as part of BBC 6 Music Festival in Camden, London.
